What is Individualised funding (IF)?
IF is a type of person directed funding from Whaikaka which gives disabled people and their family/ whanau more choice in how they are supported to live their lives fully.
You choose:
- Who supports you and comes into your home.
- When and how the supports are provided.
- What items / services to purchase to support you with your disability.
What supports can I receive:
- Household Management.
- Personal care.
- Respite services, in home or facility based.
- Flexi spend purchase items to assist with your disability.
What can Home Support North Charitable Trust do:
- Act as your host providing mentoring and support;
- How to use you budget
- Employment related support
- Assist with flexi spend options.
- Provide payroll services.
- Provide relief Support Workers – throughout the Northland.
- Supply regular statements so you can see how your budget is tracking.
